Vikram A Sarabhai Community Science Centre (VASCSC), established in 1966 by the visionary Indian scientist, Dr. Vikram A Sarabhai, stands as a pioneering institution dedicated to fostering scientific thinking and innovative science education. Dr. Sarabhai, widely recognized as the Father of the Indian Space Programme, founded this centre with a vision to cultivate a deeper understanding of fundamental scientific concepts among students, educators, and the general public through engaging inquiry-based methods.

With a firm commitment to the principles of the New Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) and the recently introduced National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023 (NCF), VASCSC has extended its reach to integrate a comprehensive Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) approach.
